Illinois has a better Block/set differential but has more block errors than their opponents.
PSU has less block errors than their opponent, and has a better solo blocks differential.

I know nothing about Illinois head coach Chris Tamas, but I throw this out for comment. In the pre-match interview, the interviewer comments, approvingly, how the team always battles. He notes that at Minnesota on Wednesday, they could have quit after losing the third set, but they kept fighting. To me, that's a home run pitch served up to Tamas. His response: " Yes, but that's a bit of me, too. And the staff. . . ." Thoughts?
