The above stats show how the Lions have continued to improve as the season progresses. Playing these two tough matches in two days will be the ultimate test of their stamina. If we can keep serving like this there is no team that can overcome our momentum. Go Lions.

And that being said " WE ARE " PENN STATE! funny thing ....and cool thing is I had a psu sweatshirt on this morning doing some last minute grocery shopping . A mom with her younger boys shouted "WE ARE" at me from a couple parking aisles over. Always impressed with this....whereever I am in the world. |

FYI - The stats show that this Lions team doesn't beat themselves with errors and are very efficient hitting.
Also, this team is very defensive with good blocking and digging. This team plays very complete VB.
PSU would have to have an off day on several fronts in order to lose this match, IMO.

It's interesting that Wisconsin's hitting .300, something they never accomplished during the preceding four years. They must have significantly upgraded their setting this year.
I have two big wishes, I hope PSU's able to stress Wisconsin's serve receive in order to make it more difficult to set their middles. And, I'm hoping our hitters can do better terminating more quickly. I'd prefer that we avoid so many extended rallies.

rewatch the dig pink WI match from October. Has some fantastic moments in it, from a seated set by White, to an inspired coaching decision in set 2, to Reid's run. Helps to know the outcome!
