So what do you think? Here's my guess, part of which is wishful thinking. I really hope the committee sees that Penn State, Stanford and Nebraska are the three best teams...and that those two red ones are on the opposite side from us 1 Penn State 16 BYU 9 Southern Cal 8 Washington 4 Florida 13 Baylor 12 UCLA 5 Texas 3 Nebraska 14 Iowa State 11 Creighton 6 Kentucky 2 Stanford 15 Wisconsin 10 Utah 7 Minnesota

I wanted them to come when they were scheduled in pre-conference season to come a few years ago and then they backed out. One thing though. I think the committee will stick with Nebraska as the number 2 seed as they did back on 1 Nov.

I still see 4th seed going to Stanford.

I predict we will play Howard (I think we played them last year or year before in early season...Villanova Tourney?) or Princeton in the first round

Some interesting Counterpoint to the bracket projection:minncoach Freshman Club Coach Posts: 72Female FINALIZED 2017 Bracketology (11/26) 2 hours ago tomclen, gnu2vball, and 1 more like this Post by minncoach on 2 hours ago based on the fig stats as of now, if I'm on the committee....given the criteria and past precedent, I'm gonna say: 1- Penn State 8- Washington 9- USC 16- BYU 2- Nebraska 7- Minnesota 10- Utah 15- Kansas 3- Florida 6- Texas 11- Baylor 14- UCLA 4- Stanford 5- Kentucky 12- Creighton 13- Iowa State Cakewalk regional for Stanford if this comes to pass. KY, Creighton and Iowa State are three of the most overrated teams in the RPI. They are #10, #26 and #22 in Massey vs Washington (#8), USC (#16) and BYU (#7) in the Penn State region. And lucky Florida would get Texas (#4), Baylor (#20) and UCLA (#12). RPI flaws don't just affect who gets in but also creates lop-sided regionals. Let's hope the final bracket is more balanced. As long as neither Stanford, nor any B1G team in the Top 16, is a multiple of 4, I'm happy. I don't want an "easy bracket." I'd like to see all the favorites win out, so each match is progressively more challenging. The cream rises to the top. Go Nittany Ladies!
