We need a tiebreaker now with both teams tied with 7. I’ve wanted that since beginning of year I’ve been saying at Atleast now the opportunity is there

Not sure what they meant by that, but maybe the Committee considered that issue in doing the seedings? Is that one of the criteria in placing non-seeded teams? VCU supposed to be a great blocking team. That could be fun.

Straight from the mouths of the committee of why they made some of their decisions. Interesting to see how they are thinking. Penn St., Florida, Stanford, Kentucky get top 4 seeds, NCAA chair explains process The Southeastern Conference has never won an NCAA Division I women’s college volleyball championship. For that matter, just once, when Florida lost in the 2003 final to USC, has an SEC school ever gotten to the title match. Could things change this year? The NCAA selection committee must think so, because the league’s co-champions, Florida and Kentucky, were rewarded Sunday night with two of the coveted top four seeds in the NCAA Tournament. Unlike when #5 Penn State played #4 Wisconsin in the region finals in 2014.

Thanks for that. I am predisposed not to like Coach Cook, but his quotes in the article sound a little whiny.

Penn State was put in a good spot so tell me why I’m so irritated with commitee over things that don’t really effect psu but I am. It’s weird. Not sure why I feel so annoyed with it. Hmmm. I think it’s maybe frustrating me High Point got in over Maryland. It think it’s BS and think Maryland deserved a spot. Feel so bad for Aired and Carp and team

I love our bracket. We have a chance to kick the phishtrix out of Pitt in the second round.

Thanks for that. I am predisposed not to like Coach Cook, but his quotes in the article sound a little whiny. he has yet in anything i've read acknowledged that his team SHARES the B1G. And [hypo] if they had won the B1G with a 14-6, that would make his statement of entitlement totally inoperative. in fact, he and his daughter and the morally bankrupt NE program have lived this idea of entitlement, and it's not attractive. With 4 losses, NE has more losses than any of the top 4 seeds...1, 1, 3, 3. NE record, SOS and RIP over the season have made this predictable.

Yet Cook and Nebraska fan base expected top four seed despite having more losses. Their entire argument lies in the fact they defeated PSU once this season. (That B1G record still doesn’t float as we defeated Wisconsin TWICE, when Nebraska couldn’t beat them once. Faulty logic.). EDIT: That inappropriate #2 RPI cast an incorrect expectation to their fans. That didn’t help any.

Feel so bad for Aired and Carp and team Because you probably read the Nebraska rants. But isn’t it interesting how, after opponents lose at Devaney, fans are sweet as sugar and compliment the losing team and fans. Sure, it’s only the posters we read, but where’s all that competitive respect now? Some of those rants about not being top four are brutal! This seeding really pains them to not get HCA at Devaney.

And NE lost to lesser-ranked teams than did PSU. The NE fans on FB are steamed...apparently the rules aren't in their favor; had we not won the B1G because of a mandatory tie-breaker, I wouldn't have had sour grapes about it. But of course we're always looking at the real prize.
