OK, who do we see in the Sweet 16?
I'll start:
Penn State Stanford Kansas Wisconsin Creighton Purdue Washington Texas Nebraska Minnesota Baylor USC BYU UCLA Kentucky Florida
Call this the "B1Gcentric" prediction

Boy, do I need help with my bracket... I can't see any 1st round upsets, nor can I see anyone beating a B1G team, so I have 6 in my Final 8 (only FL n KY survive their brackets, but neither make Final 4 over MN, WSC, PSU (NC in straight sets, giving up 58 pts to MN) n NEB (Revenge Match for PSU). In earlier rounds, MICH falls to STAN, who can't beat WSC, who wins an easy match over underdog PUR, who takes out vulnerable TX. And, of course, IL falls to senior-laden MSU. MN over FL is the closest Sweet 16 matchup I see, since NEB will totally outclass KY n prove they should have been seeded Top 4.
Can anyone NOT wearing B1G-tinted blinders help me? I don't even have WASH beating IL on Opening Weekend.
Edit: Mizzou over Kansas. Something wrong with that team.

Have Illinois facing mich state the mich states vs Penn State. Think I have all the BIG teams in first round. Was tempted to take wisky in the regional but I just think it’s gonna be Stanford. I think Michigan I have going out earliest.

At least you have STAN over WSC. I thought WSC showed more vs PSU than STAN did, so I have "unranked" WSC in the big upset.

Couple years back, NE had a second round exit (2013 v KSt, I think). Same year (?) American made it to the Sweet 16, having beaten GA and #14 Duke (and took a set off of TX in the 16).
So I think it's likely there will be an upset of some sort. Most likely by a lower ranked B1G or PAC team. Cinderella this year? Impossible to predict. That's why I watch.

I think psu minny and Nebraska all have phenomial shots at making final 4. That being the case would mean Illinois and mich state are out. However I think mich state is the biggest threat in that region. Mich is in Stanford’s region so I think they will be out early. I went back and fourth on wisky because I think they have potential to beat anyone if they play well but so many matches this year they continued to beat themselves with errors And have a hard time believing they will just all disappear in tourney. Purdue is a interesting one. Wasn’t sure what to do with them.

It was Kansas State (I had to look it up).

I wonder if we will find that after PSU and Neb.....the other 6 B1G teams are very susceptible and wont go as far as we all hope or think.

Exactly my concern.I would actually rather play someone fresh and new at home....I think this crew will play better and be more anxious to take a team to the woodshed.

I lost Purdue, Cal Poly, Baylor n Wich St.
