I think that is one of the interesting things about this years' version of Penn State. They don't really seem unbeatable. This group wins in ways that are different than previous championship teams (or so it feels to me). More defense, more subtle good serving, and of course the modified 6/2 which no one has ever seen before. So of course Bates (and others) think they can stick with us, only to be surprised that we won 3-1 again.
