Our team has bounced back so many times when I was pulling my hair out that I have lost track of the number. They seem to be able to reach down and find more energy to get the job done in the face of frustration. They truly are a team that can work together. I am going to miss these seniors when the season is over. But for now - GO LIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a testament to the level of interest and support that my friends on this site are willing to harm themselves if we are in a close set, let alone actually lose one! If I were a doctor, I would prescribe something for that condition. As it is, maybe Dignittany participants should do yoga or something during each match? |

Russ brought Abby, Simone, and Kendall to the presser. Think that shows how he felt about Abby tonight...not just the play-by-play folks on the TV. Is there video of the PC? Could someone post a link? |

Pitt's PC was interesting. They were not happy and said that they played their normal game. They obviously thought they could have and maybe should have won. With that attitude, next year they could be even more successful and get some recognition. It seems like Coach has been helping both Howard and Pitt coaches.

One thing I think Coach Dan Fisher might want to consider -- and it's something Coach Rose does after every single match, win or lose, championship or heartbreak -- is recognize the efforts of the opponent. Implicitly, Coach Fisher ("Fish" to his players) did that. But that extra step adds a lot of class, and because I think Coach Fisher is a classy guy, I hope he'll adopt that approach in the future, so that his presentation reflects how classy he really is. That said, my slacker staff has posted the post-match PSU quotes and match stats for the Pitt match on DigNittanyVolleyball. Give them some positive reinforcement.
