BTW, the B1G compiled all the B1G awardees. They come from the North and Northeast Regions. (Wow, these regions are crazy...somewhat based on conferences, but B1G divided between 2.)

B1G scooped up both FOY and POY awards.

Only 1 B1G coach got COY...Russ Rose. Appears to be the only Regional COY still in tourney

“Your body of work through the whole season is what it is,” Rose said Tuesday afternoon during a discussion about this weekend’s matches. “We’re entering this round with the most number of wins and the most wins against the other 15 teams that are (still) in the tournament. But if we don’t play well, it doesn’t mean anything.”

Article mistaken!y refers to Thelen as a junior. Coach Rose probably wishes that was correct.
