UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; December 5, 2017 – Penn State fans planning to attend the NCAA Women’s Volleyball Regional Semi-finals at Rec Hall on Friday, Dec. 8 are advised of parking options for Friday’s matches.
Due to the regular business and class day there will be limited parking available in the Nittany Parking Deck and parking lot Red-A. Overflow parking will be available in Stadium West and Jordan East on the East side of campus with free CATA Loop and Link shuttle service available to and from Rec Hall. Details are below.
Nittany Parking Deck is located off of Fischer Road from Allen Road and Park Avenue. Fans are advised to take a parking ticket upon entry to the deck. Parking will be free of charge from 12:30 – 6:30 p.m. for fans attending the NCAA women’s volleyball matches. Fans will be required to pay for any time spent in the Deck before or after this timeframe. Pay stations are located at several locations in the Deck. Cash is not accepted at the exit gate.
Parking lot Red-A is located at the intersection of White Course Drive and Atherton Street (US Business Route 322). Fans should identify themselves as a volleyball patron to the parking attendant to park free of charge from 12:30 – 6:30 p.m. Pay stations are not available in this location this day.
Once these two areas reach capacity, fans will be directed to the East side of campus to the Stadium West and Jordan East parking lots. Parking will be free of charge in these lots from 12:30 – 6:30 p.m.
CATA Loop and Link bus service is free to all customers and all Loop and Link buses stop at the Pattee Transit Center in near the library on Curtin Road. The White Loop and Green Link buses both stop directly in front of Rec Hall. The White Loop will pick up at BJC Gate D on University Drive, while the Green Link and Red Link will pick up on the north side of Curtain Road, across from the BJC main Ticket office. The Blue Loop will pick up on the south side of Curtin Road, across from the BJC main ticket office, but please note that it does take a longer route.
Return service to Stadium West and Jordan East will be available on the Blue Loop, Red Link and Green Link that will pick up in at the Pattee Transit Center, boarding on the south side of Curtin Road, closest to the library. The Rec Hall stop for the White Loop and Green Link will also be available but will be serviced by fewer buses.
ADA Parking will remain available at Nittany Deck.
Penn State is the No. 1 seed and faces Missouri in the first Regional Semi-final at 2:00 p.m. followed by Michigan State and Illinois at approximately 4:00 p.m. The winners from Friday play on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 8:00 p.m.
Parking for the NCAA Regional Final on Saturday, Dec. 9 is free of charge in Nittany Parking Deck and also the Red-A parking lot with no restrictions or special arrangements for fans.
All-session tickets for the 2017 NCAA Tournament Regionals at Penn State are on sale now. Current Penn State women's volleyball season ticket holders and NLC members will have the option to purchase all-session tickets now through their account manager on TicketMaster.com. All-session tickets are priced at $16 for adults and $10 for students and youth ages 12 and under. Groups of 20 or more may purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $8.
Fans can purchase tickets by calling 1-800-NITTANY or by visiting the Athletic Ticket Office in the Bryce Jordan Center from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Single-match tickets will only be sold at the door the day of each match. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students and youth ages 12 and under. Groups of 20 or more may purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $5. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. Friday, December 8 and 6:30 p.m. Saturday, December 9.
