Both played well, but Stanford played better. Sheffield seems to have gone to Grace Loberg, finally, as Wisconsin fans had called for several matches ago. Seeding generally played out in the Tournament.

Seeding generally played out in the Tournament. The reality for Wisconsin is they are a 10 loss team and they werent going to beat a top seed on their home court. Today very well may go chalk.

One thing that Coach Rose said in his interview at the break struck me: "One thing I can assure players is that they may not always win, but they won't lose because they are tight." Big advantage.

don't mean to troll Kelli Bates. But after our last weekend in Madison, I believe i saw tape of her saying her team was just as good as PSU. Which, given the data, is demonstrably false.
Last night added more data debunking that.
I wonder if she got her chain wrapped around the wrong axel... WI has a lot to be proud about, and they can leave PSU out of the discussion. Rettke played with admirable confidence and skill, deserving of her accolades; Hilley did pretty well at least in the first 2. Bates had a pretty good night.
With their former S gone and Bates now, too, I'm finding myself admiring the WI team... so far.

Nebraska seems to be doing well against Kentucky. Nevertheless, John Cook is the ultimate whiner.

But Kentucky is shrinking the margin, finally losing 25-19.

Nebraska up 15-11 at the break. Wildcats are much more competitive this set.

Kentucky's crowd starting to show uncertainty. I hope their tickets to KC are refundable.

Kentucky showing some resiliency, 23-19, Cook calls time.
Have I mentioned I'm less than fond of Nebraska's coach?
