Have to be impressed with the many ways this group can win. Really like the situational subs. Pierce, Powers and Reed all made valuable contributions. I guess coach was unsure about Detering's blocking cause her setting was pretty good.

Can someone with access copy these posts about how psu won’t beat Stanford but Nebraska will and give it to someone where players can see it. Bulletin boards material like that could bring a flame that won’t be stopped.

Bulletin boards material like that could bring a flame that won’t be stopped. I think the sweep by Nebraska in Rec Hall is all the motivation they need. Anything else is just noise (of course, this is just my opinion, and almost certainly just different noise).

All the people predicting if psu meets Stanford Stanford wins but if Nebraska meets Stanford Stanford loses. Where is the logic there. I can’t tell if they really believe that or there is so much hate for psu they are trying to make themselves believe it. I wouldn't pay attention to the chatter. Stanford doesn't worry me. I'm concerned about the Nebraska match. We gotta get by them first.

One step at a time. Focus on the task at hand. Which is Nebraska, you can't play two matches at once.

I too am happy we get to play Nebraska again. While Stanford has gotten better since we played them, I think one thing people on VT seem to neglect is that Penn State has also gotten much better since then. Penn State has tweaked a lot of things to get them 23 straight wins. I think PSU is firing on all cylinders and play a very complete game. They have tons of offensive weapons, are very efficient in the attack, and have a very good defense. Also, PSU doesn't make many errors. I'll post some updated stats this week comparing the remaining teams. Of course, you cannot win on paper, so we'll see what happens next weekend.

How is it that people all mention that Stanford and Nebraska have gotten better since beginning of year but nobody mentions same can be applied to psu. One can argue they have improved the most. They have the longest win streak of the 4 teams right now. It’s apparent people only see what they want to see and ignore the rest.

I will say this. If psu wins it this year it will feel more gratifying then other years just do to all the talk. Nebraska this Nebraska that Stanford this Stanford that. Alot of championship years Penn State has been clear favorite. Different sitting on side where they are in position but everyone is doubting them.
I these three teams are close and it could come down to best strategy and making adjustments. I would take nobody over Rose in that situation my friend. NOBODY! Hahha
I would laugh so hard if it ended up being psu vs Florida. I think the boards would fall silent.

What does coach mean by the acronym "KG?" "Bryanna [Weiskircher] is a really KG player"

What does coach mean by the acronym "KG?" "Bryanna [Weiskircher] is a really KG player" cagey = shrewd or clever I didn't actually notice that when I cut and pasted the text for the press conference. But I think the use of "KG" was an indication that the person who transcribed the interview didn't know -- or just wanted to use a shortcut for -- the word "cagey." I definitely heard/assumed "cagey."

It also appears that whatever was interfering with Plummer's performances early in the season is no longer interfering.
