Any rumors on who coach has hired to fill out the staff?
Also any transfer rumors?
Is cathey gonna be available next year or is her career over?

Why on earth would Cat Cather's career be over, if Russ Red shirts her from last year she still has 2 years of eligibility left.

She did last year but she should be over them by now and certainly for the start of the 2018 season. After all football players come back after 2 weeks.

My slacker staff was circulating the rumor that they, collectively, were the new assistant coach. I tended to disregard that, and now they appear to have forgotten they were pushing it.

Can your slacker staff get to the bottom of this ?
Any bets ? I am thinking ats Carp and she brings Pritchard with her !!! (going for the home run)

After Aired left and players starting transferring out that’s where my thought immediately went. I thought about that whole Prichard scenario but there still is the setback of having to sit a year unless she found the Clark loophole. Still holding out for harmatto but would love to have carp back or brown or any x psu player. I think I made clear how I feel about keeping it in family. My home run is still hoping for a late move by Lanier out of usc. I can dream |

The women's Club Sport volleyball team is having a tournament of clubs at Universities this coming FEB#. Some solid players on the team and could be good competition.
Also I just fail to see what having an ex PSU player on the staff dominates all the criteria as if they brought the best with them. You need experience and the names mentioned so far have very little of it

You need experience and the names mentioned so far have very little of it Why? Every great coach started being inexperienced. So your saying that no coach should be hired without so much experience? Again. Why. Sometimes great things come out of chance bold moves like that. Experience doesn’t guraentee success and inexperience doesn’t guarantee failure. Big rewards normally come with big risks. People make the comfortable moves cause they are weak. It takes a strong person to make a move and be ok being uncomfortable with it. |

What are we looking for in this coaching slot? An heir apparent? Or a technician and helpful recruiter? If the latter, a former player with some recent playing experience and technical skill might be just fine. However, I would think experience would be much more important if we were hoping to find a new Associate Head Coach.

An associate head coach left and if the powers that be thought that was appropriate then why would they not seek to repeat that capability?
