That's big news, if true. VT has certainly had it's share of "sure thing" rumors that didn't pan out, so I'm in wait-and-see mode. But if it happened, it would really help Penn State -- she's a 6-3 RS Sr. OH. Here's the write-up on Taylor from goheels.com from the link in lionsfan's post (she's listed at 6-2, but that seems to be from 2014; more recent articles list her as 6-3; who knows):

Taylor played at my club during her high school years and she was a very hard working, positive force for the team and always anxious to learn more. Bet Dad is glad to have her home!

Saw a UNC VB Instagram video showing 6-on-6 play posted today, and Taylor Leath was not on the court or sideline. Hmmm.

Not sure if this gets filed under Small World or Just Weird : UNC just named 2 new assistants. One is from PSU, Mike Schall, who worked w/Rose when our new AC played for PSU. So Schall, who's been in NC for a while running a club, goes to UNC and Leath leaves UNC for PSU...? Cause and effect? In a good way? From the UNC website: Schall began his coaching career as a member of Russ Rose's staff at Penn State serving as assistant coach for the Nittany Lions. While at Penn State, Schall was involved in every area of the program including recruiting, practice planning and implementation, scouting and match preparation, and individual player development. He coached numerous Big Ten all-conference players, conference players of the year, national players of the year, and USA National Team members, including Christa Harmotto and Nicole Fawcett. During Schall's tenure, Penn State advanced to the NCAA Final Four five times, winning the national title in 1999. Also, Dennis's UVA Cavs played against her 4 times at least while he was coaching down in C'ville.

Surprised to hear that Mike left the club scene. That club was very strong and he has been there for some time. Wish him well as he is one of the good guys.

Do we have any confirmation of this transfer?

No. And I wouldn't expect any until Taylor enrolls at PSU (if she does, in fact, transfer to PSU). I think the next session starts in May, but I'm not sure about that.

Dennis spoke to the TAILBACK CLUB Wednesday morning a avoided saying anything about Taylor even when asked about her status.
By the way he did a wonderful job answering questions about his role and why he spends so much time walking up to the sideline and then back. Very well done on his part.
I wonder if the lack of Spring activity is the few hours that the team is permitted to gather with the coaches. Back in the earlier days we had matches against other schools but given the few that are here and on the roster it maybe wise to stay and use those hours concentrating on specifics

What's going on when he walks up to the sideline and then back? 😁

Tough crowd Nyline. You're getting trolled one day, having shortcomings of the slacker staff exposed the next.
Give him a break people! He's a sensitive guy!

Dennis said that this frequent trips to the sideline is to remind the players what to anticipate in this given situation and these reminders are done at he request of you know who/. They believe that offensive strategies have becomemore complicated and his task is to remind the players of how they wish to anticipate

Hey nyline what happened to the incoming freshman previews. I enjoyed the 2 so far would like to see the rest. Day job interferes from time to time. Expect one or two more this weekend. (Remember, the B1G wrestling championships are this weekend. One must have one's priorities!)
