It would be interesting if Pitt got a top 4 seed and PSU got sent to their regional. It's entirely possible. Pitt isn't likely to lose a match in their phishtrixy conference. PSU could lose another five matches. |

The most recent rankings must come as a great surprise to the less than positive attitude expressed on these pages earlier in the season.
So it is a fragile but real accomplishment for the players and the strength of the staff effort.

So it is a fragile but real accomplishment for the players and the strength of the staff effort. Thanks coaches and the team members I don't disagree with you on the accomplishment to date. The team has shown great toughness and perseverance. But Coach Rose is on record as saying he doesn't think they should be ranked as high as #4. Part of that may be to motivate the team, but I believe he generally says what he thinks. So I tend to believe he's calling it as he sees it. I am not at all affected by the fact that I agree with him 😎 |

I looked at the RPI. We are behind Purdue, even though we have 2 more B1G wins. I think we are 14. Would have thought beating NE would have given us more kick.
