WSOC, WVB To Be Featured on ESPNU
Penn State women's soccer will have one appearance on ESPNU this season, while the women's volleyball team will have two matches aired on ESPNU. Aug. 15, 2018 Big Ten Release UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State women’s soccer and women’s volleyball team will both be showcased on ESPNU this fall, as announced by the Big Ten Conference and network on Wednesday. The No. 4 Penn State women’s soccer team will host preseason-No. 2 UCLA on Saturday, August 25 at 4 p.m. at Jeffrey Field. Fans unable to attend will be able to catch the action on ESPNU. The No. 6-ranked women’s volleyball team will be on ESPNU twice this season, both in Big Ten road matches. The Nittany Lions will take on Michigan on Sunday, September 30 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, at 1 p.m. for the first showing, and the second match on ESPNU will be on Wednesday, October 10 as Penn State takes on Purdue in West Lafayette, Indiana, at 7 p.m.For more information on both programs, including schedules, tickets, and rosters, please go to GoPSUSports.com.

Should be a good year, but I don't know if they'll have as much offense this year. They lost some good forwards.
Actually, that might be a good thing. Probably will force coach Dambach to focus on defense (like the year they won it all).

My impression, based as usual on very little information, is that the Lions are expected to be quite strong. They were tabbed to win the conference and the high ranking reflects a lot of returning players supplemented by some well regarded Freshmen (women).
