Texas defeat Florida 3-2; Florida was up 8-4 in set 5 and collapse. FL ended up losing set 5 by a score of 15-10. |

Northern Iowa takes #5 Kentucky in 5: 23-25, 25-20, 11-25, 25-17, 15-8 UNI also swept #13 Creighton and got swept by #10 USC at the tournament. Kentucky starts the season 0-3 in what has clearly been the most brutal pre-conference tournament these last few years (4 great teams, 3 matches a day on back-to-back days). Can you believe the Panthers weren't even receiving votes in the preseason poll?!!! They should skyrocket. But you know who already had the Panthers ranked in their poll? THIS GUY!!!  |

One thing about college volleyball that I find endlessly fascinating, is that a team can lose a set 25-11 (as UNI did) and still win the match. |
