Nebraska is getting beat 2-1 by Florida and losing in the 4th set 12-8.
Thayer Hall is proving why she was the #1 recruit.

How is that other #1 recruit doing?

How is that other #1 recruit doing?
Not even playing, from what I hear.
For those who are curious, he's asking about Lexi Sun.

And down goes #2. Nebraska lose to Florida 3-1.
Never put all your hopes in a freshman setter in the early going.
It's nice that PSU has Weiskircher; she offers some stability at the position.

Since the title warns about spoilers I guess I can post Florida won 3-1. Thayer Hall was unreal. First college match and she has 20 kills. Their setter was constantly going to Hall in the back row in tough situations rather than set the front row players.
Lexi Sun was not dressed to play. Must be an injury. I feel sorry for this kid. Things just haven't been working out for her.
This is the first time I have seen Hames in action. She is very good. I can understand why she is the starting setter. However she is not that tall and doesn't jump all that high. Hames plays in the front row three of six rotations. It will be interesting to see how B1G teams play against Nebraska.

I believe Wisconsin beat North Carolina, not Oregon. Ooops! It's now fixed. Thanks. I know Oregon lost 1-3 against someone. LOL! That's what happens when you've been watching too much volleyball in one day.

Tennessee defeats MSU 3-1. Illinois defeats Colorado State 3-2. Geez, what's up with Michigan State. Tennessee was picked to finish 10th in the SEC and two of their starters are injured.

For one thing, over 90% of their offense graduated. I think they had a very good 2018 recruiting class, but not as good as Penn State's, and with even more losses to graduation.

Thanks so much for doing this, Millennium. This thread (and its successors throughout the season) is always a favorite of mine.
