PSU should ask Temple to stay around an extra day to give them more serve-receive practice.

Nice serving runs by the "smalls" - Hampton and White - to close out the 3rd set.
It was enjoyable to watch PSU come back from a 13-19 deficit in the 3rd, but my heart can't take it too often.

Temple had a nice game plan and was well set up defensively.
Also, they seemed to get a lot of block touches.
It was nice to see people coming off the bench and contributing big: Hoffman, Cathey.

I thought we have a fairly good serve-receive game, we just need to improve on our serving. We had 12 service errors to 8 aces. Fortunately, Temple's 11 service errors to 5 aces helped us.

As much as i agree with those who says a win is a win, I am not sure this was an improvement from last week. We needed to refine some of the areas that we are not yet good at quickly, especially the serving. We gotten away with so many service errors against less competitive teams so far, but we all know if we do not clean that area up, we'll have no chance against the likes of Stanford and some of the B1G opponents.
