Well, Stanford swept the Longhorns, winning the first set 25-15. The Longhorns put up an Alamo-like defense in set 3, losing 32-30.
Is PSU better than Texas?

I think it would be a 5 setter if PSU were to play Texas. Athough, really, home court advantage would play a large role IMO.

Coach Rose had Texas ranked 5 and PSU 9--prior to theStanford match. I could make a case the PSU did as well or better against Stanford--perhaps making PSU and Texas near equal in Coach Rose's perception. |
