With the preseason complete here is a look at how the team is doing by rotation.
The team has won 57.2% of the points played. The best two rotations have been rotation 5 (back row – White, Hampton, Weiskircher: front row – Parker, Leath, Gray), and rotation 2 (back row (Gray(or sub)/White, Parker, Leath; front row – Weiskircher, Reed, Hord). Ro 5 has won 60.1% of the points played, while Ro 2 has won 59.3%.
At the other end of the spectrum, the weakest rotation has been rotation 6 (back row – Hampton, Weiskircher, White; front row – Hord, Parker, Leath) which has won 54.5% of points played.
Ro 5 has done the job both serving and receiving, having won a team best 70.3% of points when receiving and a team second best 53.3% of points when serving. The only rotation with a better winning percentage when serving has been rotation 1 (back row - Weiskircher, White, Leath; front row – Reed, Hord, Parker) having won 53.5% of points served.
Ro 1, which has led off in the vast majority of sets played, has scored 155 points of 272 played. By comparison, Ro 5 has scored 137 of 228 played. Ro 2, which has usually been the last to play in a set, has won 112 of only 189 points played.
