Was anyone else amazed at how much ground Jenna Hampton was able to cover before laying out for this crazy save in the first set?
She set a new career high with 13 digs against the Golden Gophers.

Hampton is going to be a good one for PSU.
She and White cover a lot of ground.

Hampton is incredibly solid. Minnie was, unwisely IMHO, picking on her for part of the night. I mentioned that to some Minnie fans in the stands, just as she made another great play. I think Hugh made a decision based on paper, not tape. She simply does not look like a freshman.
I was trying to think of another time we've had a new DS make this kind of impact; always always understand where she is supposed to be (e.g., have not witnessed her running into another PSU player or just standing and watching a ball go by, assuming it was someone else's); and she serves very well.

Circumnavigated the nation, through the UP and over to Minni; now back in my crib in Den. About to watch on cable. |
