It’s getting close to the time I think u start letting blossom get the work in. Bryanna gone after this year and they look horrible in conference. If gabby is future setter let her get the work. Give Blossom the year, there's another coming next year. What the hell.

Bryanna didn't even bother setting middles, too easy to see.

When is the last time PSU does not have a terminal hitter e.g Simone Lee, Fawcett, etc? Honestly, I’m not sure! Definitely a very long time ago. We need to get Gorrell in on the right side and move Parker to the outside. Nia can be our other outside. I think things might work better like that. And I would definitely say that we need to get Phegley in. Maybe for Gray. Okay, I’ve cracked the code. I think if we want to have as much success as possible this year, the first step is saying goodbye to Taylor Leath. I like her, a lot, but not for this season. Once Nia gets better we need her on the outside, and obviously Hampton should continue to sub for her. Kendall and Kaitlyn should stay exactly where thy are. I think we should give Phegley a chance to see if she can get something going this season. She’s tall and obviously a good blocker. Bryanna should set across the front row and Blossom across the back. I know that’s not ordinary but I don’t think Bryanna should hold all the weigh. At the same time, I love her serve and want her in the backrow. So that is a tough call. I think Parker should move to the outside. I like her, and I would love to see her hitting out of the pipe. I think the most important thing we need is Gorrell on the right side. She is a great blocker and has a good swing. We just need more experience out there.

And that's a wrap. Can't wait to hear Rose's comments and see what he is going to do, especially with the setter position. His options at other positions are pretty limited.

I can't believe how many chances and swings we had to actually pull even or ahead, and then squandered. As terrible as they played, they could have still pulled this damn thing out.

If they’re not winning makes no sense to leave Bryanna in there. Gotta start giving the freshman work not just bringing her in towards end of sets. The Bryanna thing could only be justified if they were winning

The good thing about a few losses is that we will see some changes made.

Minny loss sucked but that I could let slide. OSU I cannot.

I'm sure he'll give us a reasoned discussion in which he addresses the options, pros and cons, and what he sees as the way forward. I'd expect a good 10-minute read.

Rooting for Gabby and for MANY MANY changes to be made after this week.

I'm going to add some fuel to the fire. Reed and Leath will be lost to graduation after this year. Then next year we get 3 rookie OH's. It will take time for them to contribute consistently.
Although all 3 are ranked in the top 100 PrepVB senior aces.
So, are we looking towards 2020 before a chance to compete for a natty?

If she is our future let’s give her that chance to get in their and adapt

Yeah, even before today, I was worried that next year will be a tougher year than this one.

Traditional win in St John Arena, 25-16. Oops! What worries me, is that the team seemed to get outhustled as well as out organized. Many points were lost where tOSU were way out of system and many points were lost when PSU had a free ball. Not sure why Brianna went away from her middles in the last set even when she had a 3 pass to work with, All-in-all very frustrating to watch. As for a pep talk. There have been other demoralizing losses. Remember Illinois coming back and destroying the Lions at Rec Hall. Then there were the back-to=back losses on a road trip to Purdue and Indiana. So, the season isn't over because of a couple of weak performances. BUT - things must get a great deal better for this team to contend in the B1G.
