Michigan barely defeats Indiana in 5 sets.
Iowa beats Wisconsin in 5 sets. Wow!
This really is a surprise to me. But Iowa is getting better, so maybe it shouldn't be that much of a surprise.

Looks like the big ten is going to be fun to watch this year.

Just out of curiosity can anyone tell me how Minnesota lost to Oregon Really good question. Early in season with off night? They thought they were playing Ohio State in Columbus?

Just out of curiosity can anyone tell me how Minnesota lost to Oregon I asked the same question on VT and here's what people had to say there:Rollins was back row only moving into front row and Hart had an injured wrist. Not a shocking loss so early in the season. They have gotten better. That loss is like water off a duck's back at this point. Every set in the Oregon match was a win by two and Ronika Stone went OFF, so it was a really close match. I think that weekend vs oregon and Stanford 5 of the 6 sets we lost were by 2. Oregon is good. As a life long tennis player who played at a fairly high level, I can say "it happens." You don't always play your best, things don't always fall into place. And, you can look out of sorts and mediocre even if your ceiling is much higher. I like to say "you are your range of play." That's why I roll my eyes whenever fans of whatever team insist that their team really didn't lose because "they weren't playing their best". No, but they were obviously playing at a level within their range of play. Teams or individuals rarely play at their absolute best. That's why it's the "best." Better teams have a smaller range. Their high is high (higher than most), but their low is also higher than most.

I think this one should be compulsory reading before we post after any loss:
