Six freshmen and six Sophs for ND. Also, they listed Haleigh Washington twice in opening lineup (mispelling Haleigh both times).

Hats off to Notre Dame for televising the games--an unexpected bonus for PSU fans. Their announcers are pretty good as you say Nyline. We've been very fortunate seeing so many games this season.

Thought ND played pretty well, especially considering how young they are. Thought PSU played OK, not great. Good that Coach has had opportunities to play more of the team this weekend, namely Nia and Carly. Wondering when we might see Lainy, is she still recovering from an injury?

From what I heard, Lainy is cleared to play. May see her next weekend. She had a concussion.

I do salute them for covering the games, although i believe they got themselves in big trouble on Friday. After the 4:30 opener, they left the mic on. Proceeded to talk about the PSU players and compared their fitness and size to the ND...nothing to complain about, but not intended for over the air. then they went on to discuss Subway and Jared; and best of all, all the overtime pay one of them had in his paycheck, which he apparently passed around for others to see. I kept waiting for someone to clue them in, but it never happened. On Saturday, the mic was on only when play was underway and no commentary or analysis. And they totally skipped broadcasting the EKY-MSU game and kept replaying the earlier PSU-MSU game in the 4:30 time slot. But everyone was assumably consumed w/FB at that point. Open mic did get reveal why so few women are announcing women's sports: apparently these guys at ND get hired by people principally concerned about FB (and it sounded like quite an old boys club). the announcers are parceled out as necessary to other sports; one of the two on Friday needed to be prepped on how finer points of the game, like what is a side-out, during the open mic. A club player who chanced by to chat up the boys could have done an excellent job i suspect.
