Are they doing any extra promotions or "free entry with football ticket" to help attendance? I didn't see anything on GOPSUSports. This (and the last weekend) are the matches they need it the most.

We do not match up well with Nebraska so the game becomes a lot more mental than some others. Usually the team with the best serving and passing comes out on top. We have been improving and hopefully can have an exceptional performance. With so many freshmen you are surprised in good and not-so-good ways. Even though every match is important I think we will be playing our best ball at season end (which is Coach's goal).

Here’s a look at the updated history between these two schools:
• Nebraska and Penn State have met 31 times; 11 of those have been in the NCAA tournament • Nebraska has won 21, Penn State 10 • Five-set matches: 10 • Matches played in Nebraska: 20 .........................in University Park: 7 .........................on neutral court: 4 • Matches with both teams in the Top 5: 12 ...............with both teams in the Top 10: 22 (including this year) ...............with one team ranked #1: 14 (no rankings in 1981) • Both programs have ended an undefeated season by the other in an NCAA Regional Final (1990, 1994)
• National Titles: Penn State 7, Nebraska 5 • Title Game Appearances: Penn State 10, Nebraska 8 • Final Fours: Nebraska 14 (2nd in NCAA), Penn State 13 (3rd in NCAA) • NCAA Tourney Appearances: Penn State 37, Nebraska 36 • All Americans: Nebraska 43 (1st in NCAA), Penn State 34 (3rd in NCAA) (Stanford is second with 37) • All-American certificates: Nebraska 87 (1st in NCAA), Penn State 73 (3rd in NCAA) (Stanford is second with 85) • First Team All-American certificates: Nebraska 45 (2nd in NCAA), Penn State 42 (3rd in NCAA) (Stanford is first with 54) • Player of the Year Awards: Penn State 4, Nebraska 3 • Consecutive Winning Seasons since 1981: 37 each, tied for first with Stanford and Hawaii
• Poll History (up to Week 7 in 2018):

• NCAA Home Court Win Streak records:
1. Penn State: 94 (9/1/06 to 8/26/11) 2. Nebraska: 90 (9/11/04-9/11/09) 3. Penn State: 87 (11/25/95 to 9/16/2000) 4. UNI: 74 (11/1/97 to 9/18/04) 5. Nebraska: 63 (9/29/99 to 12/14/02) 19. Nebraska: 43 (9/5/92 to 12/18/94) 20t. Penn State: 42 (9/23/89 to 9/27/91)
Note: Many of these numbers were taken from the NCAA and AVCA record books, which could easily be off a tad (the All-American numbers are the ones I am most unsure of being 100 percent accurate, so any corrections are welcome!)

Do we know whether Kaitlyn Hord will be back from her injury?
If not, how long will she be out? Anyone?
Perhaps she be out as long as Nia Reed was announced to be out. LOL!

I think this year we are a very good serving and passing team. What we lack is terminating hitters, with the exception of Reed. Foecke gives the Huskers the advantage.

Maybe we could put Foecke on an Uber to Jersey Shore?

I'd pay for that.

After the way Minnesota beat Nebraska on the Husker's own court, I would expect Nebraska to be extra motivated against us tonight. I just hope the travel here has made them weary and we can hold on for the win.

What happened to the football team? We have always played our best at home.
