Yeah, but IMO Stanford won't be any better than last year. None of the freshmen will get much playing time.
I used to think Nebraska would be unbeatable for years because of all their highly ranked future recruits. But I see it differently now with the transfer portal. Experienced seniors and grad student transfers are going to be more valuable to teams than first year college players regardless of their prepvolleyball.com senior ace ranking.

The portal seems to be active with Covid produced fifth year players. Activity will likely reduce somewhat when the last Covid class is gone.

It’s so exciting to see those 7 star alerts! And I just love the pictures of Coach Katie with the transfers - she has a beautiful smile 😊 thanks to Ethan for all the wonderful updates and articles.

The fact that a player who is her conference's Setter of the Year & First Team All-Conference is willing to use her last year of eligibility to most likely be a back-up... I think it speaks volumes for how much players want to play for Coach Katie and her staff.
I've seen clips of Ally in action and she's good.

Another reason may be that this program has a long history of sending many players on to play professionally around the world, and for them to succeed at the highest levels. That surely gets noticed and considered. |

Why is Ella Snyder not listed on the 2023 roster or player matrix? Snyder withdrew from Penn State and is no longer part of the team. We have no further information. We wish her well in her future endeavors. |
