Why is Ella Snyder not listed on the 2023 roster or player matrix? Snyder withdrew from Penn State and is no longer part of the team. We wish her well in her future endeavors. Yikes. I hope it isn't anything serious like a sudden onset of Mac and Ally Syndrome. When did she withdraw? |

Something seemed off from the start. Her “commitment” was leaked by her brother. Then she had PSUVB on her instagram for weeks before an announcement. Then KSC’s 7-siren salute went up more than a full day before the official announcement, which didn’t have the typical photo w/ the coach. It just all looked off.

I tried to find it but the only Ella Snyders that showed up in the search were clearly not her. |

I watched the video and what stood out for me was that Van Eekeren never left the court. She played all six rotations in each set. Welcome Ally!!!

It also seems logical that she wouldn't have committed to Penn State if she knew KSC was still recruiting setters and planned to bring in as many as two more setters in the portal. The whole Ella Snyder situation seems off, as a previous poster pointed out. |
