Mruzik, Podraza, Van Eekeren - How's everyone feeling about the great recruiting the staff have been doing?  "Eh... as expected"? Or delightfully surprised/shocked? I think I'm somewhere in between those reactions. I knew the staff would do great, but they've taken it to such an elite level that I didn't expect this soon. Excited to see if we get any more recruiting news in the weeks/months before the new season! |

There are rumors circulating that Camryn Hannah of Clemson might be coming to Penn State. She's 2nd team All-ACC. There are rumors on VT that she is visting Penn State. If true (and given that Mac Podraza was at the PSU vs. Michigan wrestling match at BJC during her visit), it would be fitting if it were this weekend, as #1 Penn State takes on #2 Iowa at BJC in the biggest match of the season! Hope she's a wrestling fan  |

There are rumors circulating that Camryn Hannah of Clemson might be coming to Penn State. She's 2nd team All-ACC. IIRC, she was also an All-American Honorable Mention selection in 2020. One of the most sought after ACC players in the Portal this cycle, she would be a real good addition, especially since she would give us another great option at RS. If she’s visiting, hope she enjoys her time with the team! |

She’s from Chicago so, by rule, she must play volleyball for KSC.
j/k, but sheesh, KSC’s got a real connection w/ players from her hometown.
Also, this would be a rather interesting “trade” for Hurta.

Out of curiosity, is there any NIL involved in WVB players transferring to PSU? Or is all based on their belief in what KSC can do after her first season.

Don't know about NIL, but I am quite certain that a more important factor is their belief in KSC and what she can accomplish going forward. The success of her first team is a very powerful Exhibit A -- she matched John Cook and Hugh McCutcheon, after all. When it comes to NIL, the general perception (which I have no reason to disbelieve) is that Texas, Nebraska, and Wisconsin -- to name just three -- all have the resources to outbid anyone else, if the sole criterion is NIL. p.s. the legacy of four consecutive national champtionships, six in eight years, and seven overall, along with being the only program to have made Every. Single. NCAA. Championship. Tournament. probably has some bearing as well. |
