Wonder if the staff is recruiting Sophie Fischer from South Carolina - top 20 , 6-5 oh/mb who is a great prospect and just what penn state needs And there should be a scholarship available
What's her prep VB ranking? Just curiuos.
EDIT: I read she has a top 20 PrepVB rank.
Would be an awesome get at 6'5".

Another UA AA which has no commitment right now is Outside Hitter Sophie Fischer from Nation Ford High School in Fort Mill, SC. She's really highly touted. "[Fischer] decommitted from North Carolina. [She] is a top 20 senior ace and has senior national team potential. Going to be very interesting seeing where she winds up." Yeah, I know Nebraska. They have one open schollie after losing a 2020 recruit as well. But how much playing time will she get with all these players ahead of her: Kubik, Sun, Sweet, Zuhn, and whoever else comes in for them next year. I'd say Russ has the best pitch right now for pin hitters; we are so thin at the position.
