6-3 TCU MB Katie Clark... gofrogs.com/sports/womens-volleyball/roster/katie-clark/11426Now has "Penn State Volleyball" on her Twitter. I believe she has 2 years of eligibility left. Looks like she was second on the team in points, kills and blocks for the season. She had 9 kills and hit .667 in their last match vs. Texas. Welcome, Katie!

Well, one thing is for sure it is going to be a jammed and competitive gym, to say the least. At TCU she wore # 11 ala, Tori Gorrell another blonde bomber. I still can't wait for the season to start, it is certainly going to be interesting.

Do we have anything official from PSU regarding the addition of Katie Clark? No. Probably can't until she starts classes. One thing I just learned was that Katie Clark and Adanna Rollins played for the same club team -- Texas Advantage Volleyball (TAV).

According to Volleyballmag.com Penn State has the #3 recruiting class. This season they started including transfers. The two transfers are what put PSU in the top ten.

According to Volleyballmag.com Penn State has the #3 recruiting class. This season they started including transfers. The two transfers are what put PSU in the top ten. Oddly, that article referred to "the three transfers" but only named Pritchard and Rollins as the transfers that put Penn State among the top teams. The "three" must have included Katie Clark. They probably had written the article before she changed her social media, and they changed the number, but forgot to include her name. (I don't think that the omission is a comment on Katie Clark -- she was the #53 PrepVolleyball Senior Ace (about the same as Amanda Phegley, for example) and was 2nd Team All Big-12 -- twice -- so I think she'll be a solid addition, at the least.) Here's the link to the article: volleyballmag.com/vbm-ncaa-recruiting-classes-072221/
