Jordyn Byrd, a 2023 prospect who plays volleyball and basketball for Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota, Florida, listed Penn State among her top five schools.

Cardinal Mooney is our biggest in-state HS volleyball rival so I have seen her play a lot the last few years. Jordyn is a big, strong kid with a lot of potential. Her HS coach left last summer and joined the Purdue staff--not sure how much that will factor in her decision.
