I just completed my bracket for one of the bracket contests on VT (not the official VT contest, which is a complete pain in the arse). By some miracle or perhaps human error, my HappyVolley account at VT is no longer banned. I do, however, have a 50% warning. I suppose one more comment in the Politics forum about the Not Relevant Topic Foundation will get me booted again.
Don't worry, the Politics Forum was banned. LOL! That is, it was taken down.
I think I may be partially to blame/credit for this. I wrote a long PM to the VT forum mods and owner and told him the Political Forum was detracting from the VB forum and people were carrying over their nastiness to the VB forum.
Anyway, shortly thereafter the Political sub-forum disappeared.

You can take some of the credit. I also requested it be removed; probably many other viewers wanted it gone. There were fans on the women's volleyball forum who were trading insults for no other reason than bad feelings about views expressed on the politics forum. It was stupid.
I read comments on the politics forum occasionally. Someone would make a stupid insult and you could tell they thought it was the greatest, most profound political statement ever.

PS -- Use this link to make your picks, once you've successfully registered:
Someone on VT is running a 3rd party Bracket Challenge, and you don't need to be a VT member.
It might be better to let a computer tally all the votes. Also, they're using a progressive point system, which I like.
Here are the particulars.
It's pretty simple: - You predict the outcome of the entire NCAA tournament, based on the bracket that was announced a few hours ago. - You get one prediction (i.e. one bracket). - Scoring works as follows: Correctly picking a first round match-up is worth 1 point, a second round match-up is worth 2 points, a Regionals match-up is worth 4 points, Elite 8 round is worth 8 points, Final 4 is worth 16 points, and the Championship is worth 32 points.
- Winner is based on the total # of points. - To note: Deadline: Wednesday, November 25th, 11:59 AM PST. How to play (not the most straight-forward process but there surprisingly aren't many "bracket challenge" generators - apologizing in advance but the user interface/experience is nothing like the ESPN/Fox Sports/etc. March Madness bracket challenges out there):
Step 1: Click here to access the link to the bracket. Step 2: Click "Predict It!" Step 3 (important one):You will be asked to "Register." You will need to create an account to play and need to validate your account via email. For "Your Name" please use your Dignittany account name (i.e. millennium). For some, this will be different than your "display" name. That way I can match your bracket to your username. No one else will be able to see your email, but I will. I won't share these emails with anyone, but if you are uncomfortable with me having your real email address, please create a fake email address. Side contest to the user with the most middle school email address. Step 4:After you have validated your account and received your email, log-in, go back to the same link above, and click "Predict It!" This site requires you to submit all of your Round 1 votes, scroll down, hit "Enter" and then hit all of your Round 2 votes, etc. Not the most user friendly but it works. Repeat this step until you have predicted the entire bracket. Important note: you only need to enter a "score" for the Championship match. This will be used as the tiebreaker.
Additional rules:
1. Brackets are due November 28th at 11:59:00 AM PST. 2. TIEBREAKER: For the final Championship match, enter into the "Score" field the total points scored by both teams. User who gets the closest, wins. (Not sure if I'll "tiebreak" ALL ties.)
3. Only one entry allowed per poster. If your name has 2 entries associated with it, I will use the first submitted. 4. Entries are "hidden" until after the deadline. Then you will be able to view other's brackets. 5. You can edit/delete your ballots up until the deadline. Not a super straight-forward process, so reach out if you need help doing that.

I have found a much easier Bracket Prediction webpage, available via FloVolleyball. This is very simple to fill out. Just make sure to copy the link at the end, in case you want to edit your predictions.
Here's the link: challonge.com/flovolleyball2018 Just click on "Create a Prediction"

Argh, did I miss the deadline? Couldn't figure it out, but so wanted to use my winning middle school email address.

I checked it earlier today. The last 2 rounds were not yet tallied.
