Wisconsin takes set 1 from Green Bay, 25-9 (whew!).
I expected more from the Packers. Is Aaron Rodgers hurt?

Oregon still faces New Mexico State. I don't believe I'm going to monitor that.
Catch you in the morning.

Hawaii played a lot better than most expected. Heck they almost beat beat Baylor in 3. I think they were up 21-20 in the 3rd set.

Note on Baylor: that's where Gia Milana, outstanding OH for UMD for two years, is playing now. Doesn't seem quite as impressive this year. But she finally 1) got to the big dance 2) got a win in the big dance. Good for her. She was an absolute workhorse at UMD.

I apologize for my snarkiness. I bear them ill will for their dispatching our 2015 team and the attitude of some of their fans on Volleytalk. Sounds like their problem, not mine. Right?

Oh, I didn't really pick up on it. Personally, there are fans on every team that I like and others not so much. I just wanted to point out that I expected Hawaii to lose 3-1, at best.

I still resent Hawaii for being the only tournament team in memory to ignore the NCAA rule prohibiting fees for NCAA tournament video feeds.
