You don't love your family enough to share PSU volleyball with them? Got to watch the wife sing. Just the way things go. Fun is where you find it.

Not a peep on VT about this match. Howard's fan base is pre-nascent.

Penn State sided out at 96%! That's unbelievable. I've never seen that happen, and Howard's coach (I really think he does a terrific job) said he hadn't either. Howard only scored one point off their serve all match. But I don't think Penn State fans should get overly excited by that stat in terms of future matches: Howard just never got started, and as their coach said after the match, couldn't pass at all. That how a stat like that happens.

Is there any information on our injured players? In the presser, Rose didn't refer to Gray by name. Only as individual #1...ooops, sorry, that was MSNBC. Rose referred to Gray as 'another player' when mentioning how well Tori stepped in.

Let's just hope we are not in for another "come back to earth" match where the girls are struggling to find their rhythm against Syracuse.

Syracuse has some length to them. They handled a scrappy Yale team pretty easily and forced Yale to make way too many errors. I hope we don’t get too overconfident from the Howard match and take Syracuse too lightly. If so, it could turn out to be more of a nail biter match which is always risky.

We didn’t see much of Amanda Phegley this season, so I can’t tell what her future contributions will be. But she did get to play last night, which was nice. And, I’m thinking that given the new Red Shirt rules she will have 4 more years of eligibility.

She'll have to move OH to benefit the team and for playing time. Is she versatile enough to make that adjustment?
