Thank you Ethan, Jenna reminds me of Lacey Fuller, She has the same tenacity, With her and Kendall we have a very sound defense. I've been thinking the same thing. Coach talks about Jenna like he talked about Lacy. He mentions how hard she works, both in practice as well as during games. He would periodically mention that about Lacy also. I can't remember a negative word about Lacy. (By the same token, I'm not sure remember or have seen many comments about Lacy's freshman and sophomore years, but I'm pretty sure that was true during her last 2 years.) I have fond memories of Lacy flying across the backcourt getting a ball up that looked impossible to get to. She also used to go smoke cigars with Russ.  |

Jenna's serve has improved markedly in the last third of the season. Prior to that I was dreading her serve rotation as she was getting at least one if not two service errors a match. Coach stuck with her and she has developed into a pretty good server. Tho that might be because she bores the other team to death with her 10 bounces or more prior to a serve. I think one of her heroes is Novak Djokovic. (For those of you who don't follow tennis, (my brother ), he bounces the tennis ball about twelve times before he serves. You want to yell at him, just serve!!!!). |
