Every time I see Megan speak, I am impressed. So articulate and thoughtful. A true ambassador for the sport and Penn State. She is also such a smart player. Coach was always lauding her "volleyball IQ." I keep thinking that if Larsen ever retires, Megan could fulfill that role (all around leader, smart hitter and supportive teammate).
Some folks have criticized Megan's defensive skills as a Libero on the National Team, and others have wondered why with all of the Liberos who play in college the US keeps using converted outside hitters to play the position (in the VNL this year, 4 different OHs wore the odd color jersey include Foeke!). What everyone seems to acknowledge is that Megan is the best passer in the USA gym. I really hope she sticks and becomes a fixture on the National Team.
