Penn State women’s volleyball alumna Simone Lee announced on Instagram Tuesday that she’s going to play for the Kurobe AquaFairies of the Japanese V.League this season. Lee most recently represented the U.S. in the Volleyball Nations League and played professionally for the Turkish club Beylikdüzü last year. http://instagram.com/p/Bzs_mL2ARRL

I hope she is able to focus on passing there, which is her only real weakness.

Wonder if there's a Manga-Type Aqua Fairy logo If there isn't, they're missing a huge marketing ploy. And that'd be rare.

I hope she is able to focus on passing there, which is her only real weakness. In her brief time on the court in the VNL, I thought she also needs to work on her hitting. She still misses a few too many, and could do with more variety in her attacks. But, Simone improved so dramatically before her Senior year in college, and is so wonderfully athletic, that I am confident that she will continue to get better.

It seems to me that the better she gets at passing, the better her sets will get, and thus, the more efficient her attack will be.
