I recommend people read this report if you haven't, as it could have significant impact on Penn State Women's Volleyball (post season). One thing other than RPI change recommendations that caught my eye is that they are recommending, starting in 2016 to no longer pre-determine Regional Sites but determine Regional sites based on the team with highest seed going to that particular Regional( paragraph 2d). If approved, this could mean more Regionals being played at Penn State in the future. Also, they voted to remove minimum requirement for seating capacity for rounds 1 and 2 and also voted to make seating requirement of 3,000 for Regionals. NCAA DIVISION I WOMEN ' S VOLLEYBALL COMMITTEE REPORT from Feb 2015 meeting After reading whole report, what are your thoughts on these NCAA recommendations?

So, there will be a quiz Yes, but I grade on a curve Also, in the report, committee was thinking about raising the limit of seating on bench (currently 24) but decided against it. This has no bearing on Penn State since they never leave the floor and reserves stand!

uhh, professor, i'm confused. These are proposed (Feb 2015) for adoption for the 2015-16 season. Is it a done deal? If so, what was adopted/rejected/modified? No idea where you unearthed this...i don't find NCAA rule making to be too transparent...thanks so much!!!

No idea where you unearthed this...i don't find NCAA rule making to be too transparent...thanks so much!!! I haven't seen anywhere or any dates after the minutes of the meeting where the proposed move to non-preselected Regional sites has been voted on and approved yet. May come later when they get together when they meet again Feb 8-10 2016 in Indianapolis or maybe they will decide when they meet on 6 Dec this year NCAA Committee Meetings Calendar. As you say, tough to find answers from NCAA most of the time. Would love to see this proposal passed. If passed, they want to start during 2016 NCAA tournament. Looks like all the AVCA coaches present at the meeting were in favor of this change! As per the minutes of meeting, they have however, already voted to change the seating requirement for 1st thru 4th rounds. 1st and 2nd rounds now no longer have any seating capacity requirement and Regionals have to have at least 3,000 seats. This begs the question, what happens if they do approve the new Regional site selection procedures and the top team coming out of that Region doesn't meet the 3,000 seating requirement? Do they then go to next highest seed in that Regional or do they make an exception for that top seeded school?

and, i failed to mention the instant replay, which they adopted at some point. Saw coach's comments somewhere about why not at PSU. I wonder if after the NE match he may feel different...

Rose's comments on replay came after the Iowa match (so also after the Nebraska match), and were posted here on DigNittanyVolleyball.com. Here they are in their entirety:
