Pitt up 10-6 in the 3rd. Oregon's got a pretty tall front line. MB are 6'2" and 6'4". OH's are 6'2", 6'2" and 5'11". Setter is 5'10". Pretty much all the top teams will have taller outside (OH and RS) hitters than PSU. They just have to hit smarter and not try to hit hard all the time. True. But our girls can jump pretty good. I actually not too worried about PSU but was thinking about Pitt. Their hitters are 6'1", 3 at 6'0" and one at 5'11". As the announcer has said, they're pretty crafty. They've held their own going against a much bigger front line.

Willow Johnson, an AA OH for Oregon just went down with a badly sprained ankle. Seemed very painful. She rolled her ankle slipping on the wet floor. Was just backing up in prep for a set. They've been wiping the floor all night. It's over 90 in the field house. No AC.

The match at Pitt is being played in the Petersen Events Center. That's the basketball arena right next door to the Field House. We can't make it to the Friday match at State College due to the daughters school team practice so we're driving up to the Burgh on Saturday for the Sunday match instead. Should be fun. Here's the link to the official Pitt schedule: pittsburghpanthers.com/schedule.aspx?schedule=394

CSU beats CU 25-12 in Set 1 CSU takes Set 2, 25-12 CSU takes Set 3, 25-21. They're doing back-to-back, rematch tonight in Boulder. CSU has three All-MW pre-season picks. Very good team. 6-1 on the season, and wishing they could get back the loss v Cal. CU? They were 5-0 coming in to Ft. Collins last night and I imagined they're very embarrassed this morning. BUT CSU Coach said after the match that CSU has the best fans in the nation. Now....

Updated five of Friday's matches on the list on the thread's first page. I'm failing at multi-tasking today.
