Stanford up 2-1, 25-21, 22-25, 25-17. Nebraska got pretty sloppy in 3rd which led to a large Stanford lead.

Stanford's serving is a too error prone. If they clean that up they will be pretty unstoppable.

impressive rally to go 2-2. Plummer is a problem eraser She should be illegal. I don't know how many times PSU got Stanford out of system and then Plummer put it away. You think that there is a good chance to get a point and then KA-BOOM; Plummer strikes again.

For sure. Nebraska has really good defense. They never give up and many balls come back that other teams would let drop. Nebraska doesn't have a terminal OH this year. They're having more trouble than before putting finishing points. Stivrins sure can punish the ball. But Nebraska's serve receive isn't great which will limit the middles to a degree.

#21 Purdue won 3-2 at #16 Kentucky: 25-21, 20-25, 19-25, 25-22, 15-18
Notre Dame beat Michigan (they play again Sunday @ Michigan): 25-23, 27-29, 20-25, 25-23, 15-13 (competitive!)
But the big shock of the night, Rice beats #3 Texas 3-2 (!!!) for (I think) their first win against the Horns ever: 25-22, 25-18, 13-25, 14-25, 15-13

Nebraska is really tough, to be sure, but Stanford outscored Nebraska by 18 aggregate points, whereas they only outscored PSU by six aggregate points. Small sample size, I know, but Penn State will be very tough too.

And if they are, Russ Rose will question whether they deserve to be ranked that high. But two matches with Pitt stand in the way of that lofty ranking. Dare I say "potential Pitt falls"?
