Warning about Donating to "Penn State Volleyball Nation"

I've been told that someone has been soliciting funds on Facebook for an organization called the Penn State Volleyball Nation.  I received a telephone call from people in the Penn State Women's Volleyball Booster Club warning me that the "Penn State Volleyball Nation" is not affiliated in any way with the Penn State Women's Volleyball program.  They advised me not to make any donations to it and to pass on their warning to all of you.  I am told that the situation is being investigated by Penn State and others.  So, as a precautionary measure, I'd suggest following the advice of the Penn State Women's Volleyball Booster Club, and not make any donations (or give up any private information) to the Penn State Volleyball Nation until the situation is resolved.
