They have totally carved us up from the right side As I pointed out in the Stanford game, our block is exposing all the middle areas for their RS to hit across. I would rather give them the side area to hit rather than the wide middle area. At least White or DS are playing down the line, so there's a chance to defend in case their RS decide to go down the side. if not, then they'll have a field day hitting across the middle all the time, which is exactly what has happened in the first 2 sets

Such a disappointing effort. How can we look so good against Stanford and so awful tonight...at home?!

Why can Pitt find the floor on their attacks and we can't? Better blocking leads to predictable hitting

I wonder how much of the difficulties we're having this March is due to PSU players underestimating Pitt or the coaching staff not putting together the proper game plan? Pitt setter is completely confusing our middle blockers. Serena looks lost right now.

Such a disappointing effort. How can we look so good against Stanford and so awful tonight...at home?! I still don't think it's effort. But the execution by Penn State is not good.

So what made the difference for Hord/Gray from first two sets -- did Pitt's service pressure fall off or did we simply handle it better to give Blossom better passes?

Better energy leads to better execution-but not for the announcer
