Statistics are great fun, but not always that revealing (as Coach aptly pointed out in the presser).

Other? I'll go with Twain's corollary: Lies and damn lies.

I'm amazed that Minnesota and Nebraska are at the bottom of the B1G in aces. They have both been good in prior years, especially Minnesota.

Nice to see Kaitlyn and Serena at the top in hitting percentage, And the team at the top of service aces by opponents, Now we just have to improve a little more on the blocking stat.

Wonderful work. Thanks slacko. These are so good. Obs: 1. Huge margin, not mentioned, in PSU OPP Aces numbers. .67/set for PSU. Have to go down by 50% to IL at .94 to get to #2. And it continues to fall off from there. That says to me that Coach's deployment of our fabulous DS corps is really paying off and likely contributes to our side-out numbers. Also makes me think how different things will be next year with Sciorra, Keets, and Kendall graduated. But I should focus on today. 2. Stats are...stats. Notice WI is last. last. last in OPP hitting %. That may be a carryover from their rough start this season. But it shows that stats are not determinative. Have to play the game.

According to the stats, we lost tonight: total points, hitting. Lol.
