ILL 20-14 TO PSU. PSU gets to 16-14 then gives up a 4 point run. Was watching Rutgers and Ohio State and the whole match was a match of runs. First one team and then the other.

One thing I noticed with this year's PSU team is that we seem to get stronger as the set wears on. Certainly against MSU in the first two sets. Third set, not so much.
We seemed to be closing the gap here in the first, getting to 16-14.
But, alas, were letting this set slip away with a 4-0 run by the Illini.

That was an ugly set by PSU. Hopefully we can compete a little better from here on out.
Cathey not doing much, maybe Clark or Phegs can make an appearance and add some production on the pins.

Like someone was saying, PSU seems to start off slow on a pretty regular basis. Hopefully their hitting, blocking and receiving will get better. Or, just everything get better |
