Wash ties it up 1-1 (25-21) So far in this match, I have been unimpressed with the defense by Washington -- particularly their libero. In one play, where one of their players made a nice save deep in the corner, the libero became an observer instead of a participant, and watched the saved ball drop in front of her, instead of following it in order to make the follow-up pass. Lots of plays like that by the Huskies. Maybe a particularly bad two sets by them. |

I have the sound off, but they showed the President of Baylor, sitting in the stands -- Linda A. Livingstone. Then they showed an approximately college-age young woman "Shelby Livingstone, Volunteer Assistant Coach." Is this how it went down?
"Coach, call for you on line one. It's President Livingstone."
Baylor Coach: "Hello, what can I do for you?"
President Livingstone: "Well, my daughter, Shelby, would like to serve as a volunteer assistant coach on your team. I don't want to impose, but do you possibly have an opening."
Baylor Coach to staff member, with phone on mute: "Tell what's her name, she's no longer needed."
Baylor Coach to President Livingstone: "Well, you're in luck. A position just opened up!"
Actually, probably didn't happen like that at all. I guess.
