Pure supposition, but if Justine Wong-Orantes was to experience an injury or health issue, they'd need a cleared athlete; I imagine that means Courtney is cooling her heels somewhere in or nearby the site, abiding by protocols.

After the games begin, alternates will no longer be allowed. So, only one of the 12 would be able to come in for her. I assume it would be Kelsey Robinson.
