I agree. Fans who dislike the Husker program will use this against them disregarding the fact the same thing could happen at any school.

I agree. Fans who dislike the Husker program will use this against them disregarding the fact the same thing could happen at any school. I do think Coach Rose would have addressed the situation with more . . . nuance? . . . empathy? than John Cook did. I thought the singular focus in his quote on how the incident had "rattled" his players (with nothimg addressing how it may have affected Maryland's players) was odd, if I'm being generous, and tone deaf, if I'm not. |
