That the Neb players were upset at the treatment of their opponents is notable. Yes, it is. Not intending to diminish that with my comment. In general I find women volleyball players to be articulate, empathetic and respectful, at all levels. I recall recently how vigorous was the reaction to a player who acted disrespectfully to Asian opponents. It just feels like the sport, especially the women, has a strong culture of respect for each other. |
