1. “Student-athletes who are volleyball squad members but not designated as one of the 15 eligible participants will be able to practice with the team and occupy the sidelines with the other substitutes during NCAA tournament matches. Previously, these student-athletes had to sit in the stands.”
2. “There will be a day between the regional semifinals and finals. The 2021 regionals, to be held on the campuses of four participating teams, will feature the round of 16 matches Dec. 9 and the round of eight matches Dec. 11.”
3. “A new Taraflex floor will be used for NCAA women's and men's semifinal and championship matches. The surface, which is also used in elite international competitions, will have NCAA branding and debut Dec. 16 and 18 for the women's championship at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. It then will be used May 5 and 7 at the 2022 NCAA National Collegiate Men's Volleyball Championship at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion.”
