Penn State RPI at #27. RPI doesn't change much at this point in the season. Seems unlikely Penn State will be among the 16 seeded teams for the tournament, and if it isn't, it won't host first weekend.

Just voted for Jonni - she's leading by about 0.5% so every vote will be crucial

9 seniors being recognized - Appreciate their efforts over their careers. The team will have a different look to it next year.

I don't think the fact that they are being honored at Senior Night necessarily means they aren't sticking around. It just means that they and their families will join the players from their class in that celebration.

They should seed the entire field. It would, of course, entail more expense for the NCAA -- hard to guarantee all the football coaches their $7mm+++ contracts if you siphon off some network money to pay for travel expenses for sports like women's volleyball -- but it would have the upside of angering the fan bases of 63 schools Seems like a win-win to me.

I thought some decisions regarding assignment to pods in the first two rounds are based on reducing travel costs and not necessarily on "fairness."

I thought some decisions regarding assignment to pods in the first two rounds are based on reducing travel costs and not necessarily on "fairness." That was the point of my very small and clearly obscure joke: if you seeded all the teams, you would assign based on seeding, not travel costs, but the NCAA would have to make up those travel costs.
